updated April 20, 2000

The Nordic Roots Festival is a co-production of NorthSide and the Cedar Cultural Centre, specifically focused on the presentation of "new Nordic" folk music and dance. The festival's first year (1999) was a phenomenal success. The Year 2000 festival presents over 70 top-line performers from Sweden, Finland, and Norway; a blissful weekend of great music and rousing dance.
